Assistant/Associate Professor in Marketing
APPLICATION DEADLINE: Preference given to candidates who apply by Dec 1, 2009, but position will remain open until filled
REQUIREMENTS: The University of Alabama in Huntsville invites nominations and applications for a faculty position in Marketing. The preferred appointment would be an assistant professor, but could be at the associate level depending on qualifications and experience. The appointment will start at the beginning of fall semester 2010.
Teach undergraduate and graduate courses in new product development and supply chain. Faculty are expected to publish in the leading journals of the discipline. Faculty are also expected to contribute to the service missions of the college and the discipline. Applicants must have (or expect to receive by fall of 2010) a Ph.D. in marketing, management science, operations management or a related field. Candidates with an interest in New Product Development and Supply Chain will be given preference. The candidate must have a very strong record of publishing high quality research to be considered at the rank of associate professor. The Candidate must be able to obtain and hold a U.S. security clearance.
